A gathering of the Paynes is about to take place in Geraldton. They can all play the game a bit and have shared in many success's over the years.

One success of late is the new premier league champions Osborne Park and Ian Payne (pictured) was a member of that 16. He was outstanding in his role playing as a three.

At the end of August the famous Payne family are off to play in the Geraldton carnival An interesting stat about family members competing in the one tournement is as follow

There are 6 Payne clan members spanning 3 generations competing in the tournament in two teams as follows

Neil Payne Kalamunda (Son of Reg)
Ian Payne Osborne Park (?) (Son of Les)

Team two

Les Payne Geraldton
Gary Payne Geraldton (Son of Reg)
Cameron Payne Geraldton (Son of gary)

Just goes to show how varied the sport of bowls can be.
