THE PERTH INTERNATIONAL SUPER SERIES
LAWN BOWLS EVENT

MOSMAN PARK, WESTERN AUSTRALIA
2 – 8 MARCH 2009

The Mosman Park Bowling Club will again host a major International lawn bowls competition in March 2009.

The event – known as “The Perth International” – will be held from Monday 2nd March to Sunday 8th March, and will be contested by teams from Australia, England, Scotland and Malaysia.

This will be the second international event hosted by Mosman Park in as many years, following on from the highly successful Tri Nations championship held in October 2007.

The teams will consist of 2 men and 2 women, and include some of the top ranked players in the world.

Games will be played from 10am through the day, with a game starting every evening at 5.15pm to take advantage of daylight saving, and give spectators the chance to come in after work.

The event will be televised by ABC Television.

The Club will also be conducting a “Pro Am” event on Sunday 1st March, prior to the Super Series. This is a chance for the “every day” amateur bowler to play with and against the best players in the world. The Mosman Park club takes pride in the successful running of such big events on the lawn bowls calendar, and is keen to see many club bowlers come to the club to enjoy the spectacle and the atmosphere. Tickets will be a very reasonable $10 per day, and will be available soon from Mosman Park Bowling Club  9384 7951.

Pairs (men and women)

Games will be played on B Green (TV rink) and C Green (4 rinks)
