West Australia have really taken to the Interstate Senior Side
series concept since its inception with plenty of players that are very interested in representing W.A.
With only 12 players in the side it difficult to get a game
All states and Territories were involved in the last series with the exception of Sth Australia
who have never fielded a side since the series started in 2007
Brian Jepperson representing the Northern Territory at Manning in 2010
Last season the Northern Territory were represented for the first time since the series began in 2007 but were not able to make up a full side of twelve so they requested to play some local W.A players to make up the numbers.
This was agreed to by the other States and so it came about that Colin Fleay, Geoff Gunning, Brian Jepperson, G. Vaughan, John McElroy and Rance Dewson offered to help by making up the numbers so that the N.T could compete in their first Sides Series.

This year the series will be held at Warilla in N.S.W,
this year, three of the six who played last year at Manning, Cockburn's Jim McElroy, State Coach Brian Jepperson and Wanneroo's Geoff Gunning put their name forward for selection and have been invited to play with the N.T .
This is very good news as far as the Seniors Sides Series goes and of course for the players going over and we must applaud their willingness to play a part to keep the N.T in the competition and doing so at their own expense..
