ROUND ELEVEN
Round eleven brings an interesting set of fixtures
Unbeaten at home this season
Osborne Park Saints take on 3rd placed Victoria Park Reds which should be a good game
Doubleview PowerHouse travel to Yokine to take on the Doggies and it is anyone's guess who will win that game
Sth Perth Millers host the Kalamunda Tigers in a game of importance for both sides
Cambridge Knight are after a win to drive further up the ladder, take on 4th placed Wanneroo Express
Dalkeith have not had a home win as yet and their only win this season has been against the team they will host on Saturday.
Cockburn Roosters will be in desperation mode to ensure they win all 8 points that are available for this game
Brian Katunarich playing two for Cambridge is one of the best ever players not to have played for Australia. He won six games and had a draw as a W.A skip in the series held at Yokine in 1994

A. Provost(sk), J. Mitchell, C. McNeil, D. Patterson
Unbeaten at home are the Saints. A couple of close shaves for them but they always find a way to get the job done, they do play so well at Osborne Park.
The Saints still have two undefeated rinks of John Goddard and David Rankin and I cannot recall a team that has had this situation.
They again will lead the charge in this contest and will be hard to roll. The rinks are solid in every position.
John Goddard's rink were playing topshelf bowls but couldn't hold them
against Clive Adams to be well down on the scoreboard but the rink kept persevering to run out winners and just another sign of how hard it is to beat this well balanced side.
Dave Rankin's rink also had a terrific win against Stein Davies and always seemed to be in control in a good standard game of bowls. This rink has everyone contributing and will again be hard to toss.
Kevin Pickering's rink is ultra competitive and will be hard to beat even tho they lost to Ted Alden in a very high standard game
Gary Caffell has shown often that he is an outstanding skip and every week he plays a good game as does Wings Evans who was in top form against Wanneroo.
The win against Reg Humphryson was full of merit
This game does present a good challenge for the Reds who were surprise losers in their last game which was against the Sth Perth Millers who have now taken the Reds position on the ladder
.
With quite a few of Victoria Park players playing at Osborne Park during the State events it could almost diminish the home ground advantage for the Saints.
Russell Hughes has a solid rink and it was a surprise to see the size of his loss to Ross Bresland's rink and this had followed on from two previous losses.
It is rare to see Russell Hughes led rinks lose 3 in a row and this could be the rink's 4th loss and when we look at who is in the rink it is even more puzzling.
Rhett Butler has won his last 2 games and it seems the side is stronger with the inclusion of James Jaworski.
Anthony Provost has the 4th best performed rink in the Premier League was also a loser last outing to the outstanding Matt Elull's rink. His rink is the most dangerous for the Saints.
Graeme Wishart's rink lost their 4th game for the season
to Nick Reagan

The only thing we can be sure of is that Dalkeith have not won a game at home, but can we be sure they won't win this time, after all they have beaten Cockburn at Cockburn to record their only victory this season.
Cockburn have shown in the past they can let themselves down at the most unexpected of times. Kalamunda was their last unexpected loss.
Marko Krajancic represents the best chance for the SilverTails and has been in tip top form over this season.
Luke Richardson was a former Cockburn player has done well in his first stint as skip is another who will present a challenge.
Peter Baccich is back in the team after injury but he doesn't have a good record to show for effort this season.
Tony Skoric is a Silvertail for punishment, so far Tony has yet to trouble the blue pen but maybe this is the game he and his rink produce the goods.
For Cockburn Daniel Brown has lost his last three games, Not sure what is the reason is for this fade away from the usually dominant rinks led by Daniel
Steve Srhoy is the leading skip for the Roosters and is the 10th best performed rink in the Premier League and once again the Roosters will be looking for his rink to do the damage
Gary Carberry's rink is just behind the Slammer
and they are the 11th best performed rink in the Premier League. their contribution has been crucial to keep the hope of the Roosters alive.
I dont know who the new skip is for the Roosters, Mike Zusman is away for another week.

Yokine almost defeated Cockburn in an unusually high scoring game on two of the rinks.
Rocket Heaton and his rink have made an amazing comeback and has continued on their merry way
winning 37/10 against Mike Zusman's rink at Cockburn. Rocket has had two half's to this season so far, the first 4 games lost and a - 68 shots. the second 4 games were all winning games and that deficit cut back to - 17.
I have no idea who the rinks are for Yokine and if there have been any changes and on that basis alone I don't think they can win this game
The Doubleview PowerHouse are on the ropes and going down for the count. The team have 5 state players and several that have played at that level.
Last week's loss underlined the poor season and with such strength we would think the club would be amongst the top end of the ladder.
The PowerHouse will survive this season and remain a Premier League side but we might have to ask if we have over estimated the strength and ability of this 16..their current placing on the ladder suggest we have.
With no finals appearance to be had this season and having to mark time till next season
the PowerHouse players might play a relaxed style of game and enjoy themselves for the rest of the season
