YOKINE DOGGIES 83 (6 ) def CAMBRIDGE KNIGHTS 77 (2)
PLAYED AT YOKINE

Lots to play for in this game for the Yokine Doggies. Their last game performance against Osborne Park mad for the best game I have witnessed this season
Could they carry on to win this game ?
Cambridge had a miniscule chance to make the finals providing results of today and tomorrows games went their way. A long shot and unlikely

Yokine bring home the bacon to keep tomorrow's game with Kalamunda alive. Scott Edmonds and his rink led the way for the Doggies to overpower the Jones Boy's rink to record a significant victory.
Rod Heaton has been terrific for the Doggies after a horrendous start to the season made sure victory would belong to the Doggies by beating Pieter Harris's rink by a comfortable margin
.
Best for Cambridge was David Opie and his rink who knocked over Eddy Dodd's rink which in the previous game against Osborne Park had played a magnificent game. To lose by this margin is somewhat of a surprise.
Trystan Smallacombe had a hard tussle to beat the vastly improved rink of John Carter

SOUTH PERTH 86 (2 ) def WANNEROO EXPRESS 74 (2)
PLAYED AT SOUTH PERTH
Sth Perth had t0 win today as it was their last game for the season. A win for Wanneroo was needed to wrap up fourth place and play in the finals.

With such high stakes and the home ground advantage it was Sth Perth who came up trumps. Matt Elull and his rink were far too good for Clive Adams and his rink with a monster win and confirms further just how good this rink is.
Clive had a huge win in his first game as State skip last thursday and no doubt would have been a pretty tired boy.

Ross Bresland and his rink made sure Sth Perth would at least win the aggregate by defeating Geoff Ellis's rink with a handy 6 shot win

Best for Wanneroo was Stein Davies who got hold of Scotty Walker to win handsomely. Reg Humphryson has continued on with his very good season since taking the skippers role by knocking over Nick Reagan

VICTORIA PARK REDS 107 (7) def DALKEITH SILVERTAILS 79 (1)
PLAYED AT DALKEITH
Victoria Park would have been overwhelming favourites to win at Dalkeith and the scoreline justifies that sentiment. With just one game to play today against Cockburn they only need one point but most likely will get 7/8 and assure themselves a second semi finals appearance against Osborne Park

KALAMUNDA TIGERS 86 (7 ) def COCKBURN ROOSTERS 60 (1 )
PLAYED AT COCKBURN
Kalamunda needed victory to keep their hopes alive of avoiding relegation. They stitched up Cockburn who had nothing to play.
The hero was Micth Biglin and his rink who won handsomely against the evergreen Steve Srhoy and his rink, normally a hard chore for most teams.
Neil Payne also chipped in to help the aggregate along while Neale Griffin defeated Mike Zusman's rink which has been up and down of late.

The only winner for Cockburn was Daniel Brown's rink who took care of business against Billy Brandsma

DOUBLEVIEW POWERHOUSE 84 (6) def OSBORNE PARK SAINTS 73 (2)
PLAYED AT OSBORNE PARK
Doubleview had won their last 6 games and faced their toughest test, a loss here was goodbye season 2008/9.

Osborne Park had not been beaten at home this season and would have been favourites to take this game out.

Well it was Doubleview who came to the fore with a solid win and have now claimed a place in the finals and are possibly the side to beat.

When I arrived at the ground Robert Ball was up 11/0 against Kevin Pickering John Slavich was leading David Rankin 12/0 Gary Cafffel was about even with Daniel Trewhella while John Goddard was down 2/7 to the Kat.

It looked bad for the Saints on the scoreboard at that stage 33/11 down and some distance to make up.

Well as we can see Doubleview kept the pressure up and came away handsome winners which wil no doubt lift their stocks higher for the finals, especially being the only side to defeat the Saints at Osborne Park this season..

Osborne Park have been pushed along in their past three games, losing two of them and will need to regroup and get back to what they have been doing all season.
