ROUND 17
The only Premier League game on in town is because the other 8 clubs played a doubleheader last sunday due to these clubs having players with State duties for the Sides Series.

It is a crucial game game for the Bedford Bulls. Lose and it is goodbye Win and they stay alive for the last game of the season

----Peter Turpin has a very smooth delivery

Peter Turpin--------
Peter Turpin has been playing for around 12 months and has settled in nicely as a leader for Bedford Bulls
Peter is a terrific example of giving the young players a go. He is a welcome addition to the side and better things await him in the future

In their last game against the Sth Perth Millers the Bulls did well to snare two points, many teams visiting the home of the Millers have come away with less than 2 points thisseason. Bedford have done well to get 17 valuable points from their last 4 games and that certainly indicates they are up and about in their endeavours to avoid relegation

Close to the last roll of the dice for Bedford where 8 points are needed. A win is simply a must and a loss is goodbye to the Premier League and a return to this competition in the for seeable future is looking somewhat bleak if the game results in a loss.
At the end of the day it is in the players hands and what they are prepared to do to win.

Stu Bainbridge led rinks have not returned a good looking stat sheet Tho Stuart himself has an outstanding record in pennants over the past 5 seasons and is still one of the best skippers in the Premier League. David Scott is now the third replacing Neil Watson who has been dropped.

Cliff Graybrook led rinks have broken even just over even for the season so far, have won their last 3 games straight and the club will be looking for this to continue.

The good news story in the past few games has been the results of new skip Steve Rushforth who has won his past four games. The pressure is still on for he and his rink to get the Bulls across the line.
Form clearly suggests the rink will have a big hand in the result of this game

In a surprise move Barry Gartrell has returned to the side as a skipper taking over Dave Scott's rink who have disappointed of late after a very encouraging start under his leadership.
Bazza at his best is a bonus to have in the side even at this late stage of the season.

Melville were so disappointing in their last game against Wanneroo with everything to play for, they left their best form back at the Melville clubhouse and surrendered to Wanneroo 52/96

Melville don't have any other role to play for the rest of this season other than being a spoiler.
If Melville come to Bedford with their best game then Bedford will have to look out for themselves.
Who will stand up for Melville is hard to tell after last week's effort against Wanneroo.
