What a great round of pennants we have this week
Undoubtedly the game of day is the Osborne Park Saints and the Doubleview PowerHouse who will do battle at Osborne Pk
Wanneroo who have started well in their bid to play in the finals have some more questions that will be answered when they take on the Victoria Park Reds at Wanneroo. Vic Park remain to be the unknown factor when we talk finals places. It was a a great performance on their part to push the PowerHouse last week
Cockburn would be reeling from their loss against Wanneroo last week, face another test when they meet the Sth Perth Millers at Cockburn. The Millers have been good for the competition up till now, will find out more as where they are at against the top sides.
Kalamunda are on a roll and if results go their way Kalamunda could be on top of the table this weekend. Bedford upset Ossy Park and will be hoping to do the same again this weekend at Kalamunda.
Cambridge let themselves down again and it is a concern that they are "the same old shoot em up at the same old rodeo". Nothing ever seems change at Cambridge. Melville havent got anything to lose here in the game but it will be hard for them to get over the line at Cambridge on Saturday

J. Goddard, I, Payne, G. King, D. Appleton.
We can look forward to a great game here on Saturday. If this game can go anywhere near the standard of last years Grand Final we are in for a red hot game.
The PowerHouse have done as much as they have had to so far this season. After a non game against Bedford they have since been pushed along by Wanneroo and Vic Park, winning both games by small margins.
John Slavich's rink would have been very happy to have the scalp of Russell Hughes on their belt, and now is the leading rink in the competition. This game will further test the rink.
Jon Sharp broke thru for his first win and at his best it will have to take a top class effort to knock him over.
Not sure who the other skippers are this week for the PowerHouse
Osborne Park were traveling well on all four rinks in their first two games then run into a hot Bedford side combined with a tricky carpet that took them the whole game to come to terms with and just fell short.
John Goddard's rink were very impressive last week against Bedford, there are no weak links in this rink with all players firing in their positions and will be extra hard to toss if they reproduce that effort on Saturday.
Gary Caffell's new look rink lost last week but they also are very solid with James "hold the ladder steady" Jaworski handling the third position extremely well in his first season in the Premier League. James has a deadly drive in the kitbag along with the other necessary skills required for that position. He had a great game against Bedford
Surprise losers last week was the rink of Daniel Trewhella, this rink has strength in every position. With this game being played at home the rink should be at its best for this game.

J. Mitchell (sk), C. McNeil, S. Holt, D. Patterson
This game is almost game of the day with both sides looking for a place in the four. Wanneroo have won both their home games this season, the downside is that two of their gun rinks have been anything but being gun rinks at home.
Stein Davies rink has yet to win a game this season has a minus 19 aggr. will be looking for their first win and Clive Adams the Wanneroo Wizard's rink of have not won at home. Things should change soon for both rinks.
It will be important for the Express that Neville Steven's rink maintain the form of last week
Victoria Park in general have a good back half with Russell Hughes the outstanding player and the undefeated Jeff Mitchell's rink posing the biggest threat to the Express. Rooster Wishart has yet to win a game this season but his losses have a total minus 6 shot aggr. The Reds would be happy with that because they haven't been aggregate losing scores.

Cockburn were run over last week by Wanneroo's Neville Stevens rink who gave Matt Kurta's rink a good old fashioned belting. . Steve West had a game that was no where near what his ablity suggests and Luke Richardson did not play- like most rinks if you dont get a start you are in bother.
One change to the Millers side for this week's clash with Cockburn. Murray Piggott a recruit this year from Riverton-Rossmoyne will play his first game of Premier League as second in Ken Prides rink, replacing Gordon Wooldridge.
Sth Perth Millers broke thru for their first win last week and they could push Cockburn all the way.
Neither Ken Pride or Scott Walker have won a game after three rounds have been completed, Ken has a minus 6 shot aggr. while Scott has a minus 8 shot aggr. When you think about it, 14 shots spread over 6 games is testament that these rinks are having a red hot go.
The main factor against the Millers winning this game will be the famous Cockburn wind and that it will be played on grass.
That shuffle of players did wonders for them last week. Now if the very competitive Ken Pride andScotty Walker rinks can break thru for their first win
it could go a long way toward producing an upset.

B. Fullagar (sk), B. Donovan, B. Radford, F. Andrich
Kalamunda beat Bedford in both games last season bearing in mind that Bedford were a far stronger 16 than they are at the moment.
Kalamunda so far have been rewarded for promoting some players and persevering with skipper Mitch Biglin last year when he managed just 3 wins from 14 games. This season he has 2/1 + 2 so far and gaining more experience in the hardest position there is to play in fours. Neale Griffin has hit top form and playing like we know he can.
Billy Brandsma, Kalamunda (pictured) Kalamunda's top skip last season has 2 out of 3 games in the bag so far this season
Billy Brandsma has also benefited from his first season in the Premier League.
With such importance on the result of this game Kalamunda will need all hands on deck
Bedford climbed a mountain last week to knock over the unbackable Osborne Park Saints. Paul Hunter won his first game as a skipper having great support from his team mates, Paul's third in last weeks great win, Neil Minchin, is not available for this weeks game
Stu Bainbridge returned after sickness last week, and has stamped himself as one of the best skips playing in the Premier League with a fine win against Daniel Trewhella..
Cliff Graybrook has a good rink and should go well against whoever they play.
This week they only have to go up the hill, tho it is a now larger hill to climb when you have play Kalamunda.
The Bulls have to reproduce last week's effort to have a chance and as always it is close bowls that win games.

It is shades of last season for Cambridge who haven't fired, however in this game they should be too strong for the Melville Magic, who have made plenty of changes to their lineup this week. The Knights could not let this game slip but after last week who knows....
There are no changes as yet to the rink of Brian Katunarich who has yet to win a game this season. they have a minus 19 shots aggr. while it was a welcome relief to Ron Stockton's rink to win their first game, albeit by 1 shot.
Trystan Smallacombe and the Jones Boy's rinks are the mainstay for the Knights, beat them and you beat Cambridge. Neither has lost a game
Melville have three players missing from their lineup, Cameron Girvan, Ray Kennedy and Alan Tough are away for this Saturday. They return for the 1st December.
It is going to be a hard afternoon for Melville, they have had some forced changes, The Magic don't look likely to win however they might be able to give the Knights a bit of a challenge.
