The Gosnells rink skippered by Brett Holland are on a roll and have won their second game of the two played so far. The rink has the 10 years old David Downey leading , and another junior, Jason Bryan playing the third position and the man who coached them, Maurice Crabb playing in between them.

Wanneroo caused an upset by beating the powerful Stirling club who are the favourites to win promotion in One Blue North

The Wanneroo rink of Doug Watson Simon. Alden Peter Flack and Damien Moore played Stirling's Tony Krajancic and dropped an 8 but still managed to win 21-20.

Apparently though Andy Tucker also picked up an 8 last week playing Warwick and his rink also lost.

It may be a tactic to drop an 8 to ensure your rink has a victory!! I\'m sure it is highly unusual for a top side like Stirling to pick up 2 8\'s and still lose the rinks...

In all my observations over the years I can't ever recall a team in the premier League having a percentage of 50.00 %.

Safety Bay who were demoted in 2005 had a percentage of 75.00 %
This could be an all time low percentage from any club to have played in the Premier League

The way things are panning out Bedford and Melville may be demoted from the Premier Division and with 1 Blue North & South each having four demotions, they are likely to lose their teams from this 1st Division as well.

Russell Hughes (Victoria Park) with plus 42 shots from 2 wins, has had a flying start to the season. What ever the Reds are paying this man to play for them he is worth every cent.

Rod Heaton (Yokine) and his team of Ian Cooper, John Bills and Bill Morrison were the first of the 1st Divisions to score 40 shots and win by more than 30 (32).

Peter Bowden (Manning) with Hockey, Strachan & Neesham, are setting the pace in 1 Blue South with 2 wins and 40 shots up following two rounds.

Bedford's star player, Stuart Bainbridge was a late withdrawl from the team last Saturday, He was badly missed as his rink crashed losing 16/31

Trystan Smallacombe and Andrew "the Jones Boy" Jones were leading by a combined tally of 36 shots to nill against Steve Srhoy and Daniel Brown during their game against Cockburn. A great comeback for the Cockburn side to lose by one shot

Many had Mosman Park as one of the sides likely to be promoted into the Premier League next season Mosman Park's recruiting drive has not shown to be successful at this early stage, the Club has only three points to show for their efforts so far.

One White division is looking to be a tight competition, This division could be a more interesting division to follow than the Premier League

An upset when Stirling crash to Wanneroo. Tom Norac has yet to open his account with two losses so far.

Well it seems the record may again be broken for age as we have a young lass by the name of Rachel Kemsley who is 10 years old played her first game of pennants on Saturday in 2 Orange for our club Warnbro, and they won 4-0 against Manning.

Warnbro now we have 2 junior girls playing in the Saturday pennant competion the other is Jasmine Ell 13 years old.
