The Osborne Park Club Championship Triples final between Joe Krstic and Ken Sutcliff was concluded today

It was a truly wonderful contest between two sides that fought hard for victory and each player gave his all to make this a memorable game.
Sadly there can be only one winner and if there was ever a game where both sides deserved to be the winner then this was that game

The leaders set the tone and the standard for this game with both Hans Ameron and Rob "Tic Toc" Clark leading superbly. In fact the standard of leading was as good as I have seen at any level of bowls this year.
Hew Hoy and Brian Ledingham played follow the leader which tells us already what the skippers were getting from these two players.

However both skips were not to be outdone and both were brilliant with neither wasting a bowl in persuit of victory
The scores were always close throughout the game with neither side able to break the game up to open up a match winning lead and so it was that on second last end the scores were tied 17-17

The last end was a beauty with the shot changing 5 times before Joe Krstic drew with the last bowl of the game to clinch victory in a dramatic nerve tingling last end

Congratulations to Joe Krystic who has won his third Club Championship Triples title, Rob Clark won his first major event and the same for Hew Hoy
Hans Ameron has now been runner up in the Triples on four occasions while Ken Sutcliff has yet to win a major triples title
Brian Ledingham joined the Osborne Park Bowling club a few weeks ago has not as yet won a major title but by gee you boys certainly deserve to win one soon
