ROUND TWELVE

The Mounties climb the Mountain but will they get their man? And will the Swans fly high or plucked by the Mavericks?
Another couple of top of the table clashes this week in One White, with Mount Pleasant travelling to Kalamunda for a contest that could provide an indication of their promotion prospects, against the leaders on their own patch.

The Tigers are starting to purr, the Mounties are genuine contenders, and this encounter between two top sides will be a corker.

Morley will be out to improve their ranking, and are confident of success against Sorrento, who have slipped a notch from their pre Christmas form. The Mavericks appear to be getting their mojo back since the break, and this game should be well worth a trip down Benara Road.

The Round fourteen fixture played last Sunday between Manning and Doubleview has turned the competition on it's head. In what was a shock result, with the bottom side taking eight points against the second-placed Manning, the View have given themselves a chance of staving off relegation.
It could have repercussions down the track for the Eagles, whose battle with Kalamunda, Sorrento, Mt Pleasant and Morley for promotion has been set back on it's heels as a result of the loss.

Doubleview this week face the side they somersaulted, Dalkeith-Nedlands, and another win here would make the middle of the ladder tussle interesting. Manning travel to Yokine for an encounter that has suddenly assumed added importance, not only from the Eagles point of view but the sliding Doggies. With the Osborne Park Saints breathing down their necks in a fight for the relegation spot, Yokine cannot afford to lose this one, and have done some tweaking to their sixteen.

The Saints host Hilton Park at home, and will be looking to continue their upward climb against the eighth placed Hawks.
