ONE WHITE REVIEW ROUND EIGHTEEN

ROUND EIGHTEEN
Kalamunda Skip Billy Brandsma has had a tremendous season and will be looking to cap it of with a promotion to the Premier League
--
The First Division White showed its strength this year when all teams with a premier league side namely Cambridge, Osborne Park & Wanneroo could not keep the pace with the rest of the field. Thornlie made up the quartet of teams to move to One Blue next year.
Dalkeith & Manning will be in this division next year and will be joined by Cockburn, Morley, Bedford & Hilton Park for certain whilst Stirling will leave for the premier league and will be joined by either Kardinya, Kalamunda or Bassendean.
I favour Sorrento to make First White for the first time in that club's history and either Melville or Safety Bay to round out the ten teams.
With all the twists and turns this competition has thrown up this year it is a fluke that I have picked the top four in order before a bowl went down in anger.
I would love to do that on the first Tuesday in November.
FINALS
Three into one just does not go. With Stirling having secured the automatic promotion it is left to Kardinya, Kalamunda or Bassendean to join them.
At various times through the year I have liked the chances of all these teams and believe they are all very evenly matched. By virtue of finishing second you have to like Kardinya's double chance but they are by no means certainties.
I think Stirling will win the second semi thus making the preliminary final the Grand Final for Kardinya and either Bassendean or Kalamunda. Now try and work that one out.
I really do not know or even have a hunch on who will join Stirling.
May the luck be distributed evenly.
Kardinya 3rd Ian Hasting playing here in the State Pairs is an important cog for the Kardinya Kats in their drive to win promotion in the upcoming finals
