FINAL
R Humphryson(Wann) b S Vassallo(Cbn) 25-23
Congratulation to Reg Humphreyson for his great win, as we can see, the games were very close. Reg also defeated Glynn Vaughan in a tight game in the morning.
Silvio Vassallo did a mighty job to defeat the favourite Geoff Ellis to make the final.
The concept is a great one for bowls and we can thank Jim McKenzie for his outstanding efforts to make this all occur.

March 11, 2008
The second day results we have at 6.00PM
Well we are down to the semi finals and as expected Geoff Ellis has made it as has Glynn Vaughan they are joined by Silvio Vassalio and Reg Humphreyson
Silvio Vassalio has done well to win his way thru and that old stager from way back and still a very good player Reg Humphryson is on board for the semi's
It could be an all Wanneroo final but my feeling is Glynn Vaughan will play in the final against Geoff Ellis. But we all know that bowls dont always go the way we think they will
Best of luck to all in their endeavours to be the inaugural Senior State Singles champ

The Senior State Singles got underway today.
Sorry but we have no scores only the list of survivors.
There are some big names missing from the list of survivors and non bigger than Gentleman Bill Galloway who was put out in the post sectional game out at Doubleview by the well performed Ken Triner
Another who is running hot is the best lefthander in the business Glynn Vaughan. Glynn won his section with ease. And we see yet another Thornlie player and the Inaugural Pairs winner Jim McKenzie .
We think this is how the draw will be for tomorrow ( but not sure) and there are some very good players in this list
Player who would be favoured to make it thru to the business end would be Geoff Ellis who would be No1 to take the title
