I'm sure Pam Glossop has appropriate administrative expertise in a general sense but I suggest she may not have a working knowledge or insight into the bowling world.

This need not be a problem if she is surrounded by committee members with a sound bowling knowledge and who are offering the correct advice but I'm not so sure that this is the case.

Pat Buller makes some vald points and are worth following up.

Perhaps it's time that all bowling clubs in WA adopted the "Kerry Packer" approach to bowls - set up a viable alternative pennant-type competition.

Better still, how would Bowls WA react if all clubs refused to pay capitation fees next season?
