Just a note to say I support Pat's thoughts on this issue.

I have helped in the running of corporate bowls at a couple of clubs & I have always thought it a great way to attract players to our game.

Many people just need to "have a go" and they have seen what a geat game or pastime it is , and further to that , I can think of a few pennant players that started in this way.

This idea from Bowls WA borders on stupidity & to my mind shows a lack of understanding of this situation.
