Another Development Officer ?

Perhaps we, the capitation paying shareholders of BWA would like to see a productivity report pertaining to our current DO. I have no idea what he has/is done/doing and perhaps he is overworked to a point where an assistant IS required. Some transparency would be very helpful as we the shareholders pay the salary I believe we are quite entitled to know where our money is going.

One of the previous posts mentioned high powered executives running BWA, I would think being in control of or being responsible to twenty odd thousand bowlers for less than $100k is reasonable, if that is all it costs us.


Corporate Bowls is a huge earner for the clubs but don't for one moment contend that the cost of barstaff at $20 per hour eats into the profits in a big way.

Everything is relative, transparency resolves conflict.
