BowlsWA say no photographs

Now seriously, The Association can put whatever rules, regulation, stipulations and conditions as they like. However they can stop you taking photos at association events, but I seriously challenge this rule and will be seeking legal advise to the effect.

Bowls WA do not own the land nor control the bowling club property and therefore is normally the private property of members and visitors. Should you be asked by the management or committee to stop taking photos then you should do so. If an official from the association asks you tell him/her to pound sand.

Also an interesting fact is that I believe the finals are at Yokine so there is no law stopping you or anyone else taking photos from the park next to the fence overlooking c green. This is council property and they can not legally stop you from taking photos from this vantage point. I am very tempted to come down to the finals and take photos.

The other point sherro is I believe 99% of bowling clubs are actually owned by the council and there has to be written in the lease, article of association something for right of access.

Remember mate they can not tell you what to do they can only ask. if all else fails and you are asked to stop by the club itself then jump the fence and film from outside the bowling club. With a telephone you will still get perfect photos.

It is time for the players and clubs to vote the association out of existence and replace it with people like Pat Buller and the likes to sort the mess that the current administration has gotten the game into.

Also Sherro keep up the good work mate and I say go for the jugular mate give them nothing and challenge them all the way. I know you will win in the end mate.
