Hi Sherro,

It is very refreshing to read Ken Prides letter and the South Perth Club’s concept of club promotion.

Clubs with strong ideals will win support in the medium to long term and prosper as a result.

More clubs and members need to put more into our sport even if it is just thinking issues through a little more comprehensively, prior to a vote or thumping the keyboard to provide a written response to issues that crop up from time to time.

As was the case for myself and the Over 60’s triples – don’t spit the chewy because someone changed the rules – build a bridge and get over it – move on – after all, those who choose not to participate are the only ones missing out.
