I think this entire issue is disgraceful and the "friend" that has leaked this to you should be named and shamed.

As far as any action by Bowls WA is concerned any comments made were part of a private conversation and Bowls WA should take no action where the only basis is "gossip".

I think that you have been proven to be correct in raising the issue as it certainly has created a lot of discussion particularly among players on the green, and it is very pleasing to see that the majority view is that a private conversation has been wrongly placed in the public domain.

I hope the player concerned does represent WA, displays all of his talent and goes even further.
