Yokine and South Perth are to be congratulated on their initiative in taking Premier League matches to the country.

The request for funding of a bus is not unreasonable particularly as state squads have traveled to country centres on a regular basis for years and this has been a very expensive exercise.

Country Director Norm Skoglund must be very disappointed with the decision not to support Yokine and South Perth as he has been a strong supporter of country visits for many years.

As a suggestion of where to find the money, simply cut out the free lunch for the executive at their next few meetings.
