Round Two One White review

November 14, 2005
Thornlie and Warwick
, the two new teams in One White, will be delighted with their start to the 2005/06 season.

Thornlie after trouncing North Beach last week continued on their winning way with a comprehensive victory over Gosnells.
appear to be firing on all rinks and will prove a handful for Kardinya on Saturday.

Alan Hogarth has recorded two resounding victories for Warwick giving them the dream start that they were hoping for. Warwick hosts Kalamunda this weekend in what I label the “match of the round”.

My pre-season tip to win the flag was North Beach but after two rounds we see them languishing at the foot of the table after a one shot defeat last weekend by Safety Bay.
A lot of teams won’t get that close down at Safety Bay with the slick surface and relentless wind.

Kalamunda have got off to a steady start for the season with two solid aggregates. If Rick Eddy was a racehorse he would be put straight in the swab box considering his massive form turn around from round 1.

As expected Morley rose to the occasion with a massacre of the strong Scarborough outfit. I do expect Morley to continue on their winning way when they travel to North Beach on Saturday. I would suggest if North Beach do lose this match there will be a shake up of their playing personnel.

Tips for Round 3:
Scarborough, Kalamunda, Morley, Gosnells, Kardinya
