STATE SIDE versus METRO ALLSTARS
Played at Victoria Park
Friday 13th March
6.00 PM
This match has been organised to be played between the WA state mens team and a Metro Allstars team.
This will be the final practice match for the state team before they travel to Canberra for the side series but it is also going to be used as a fundraising venture for the Victorian Bushfire Relief Fund.
To that end I will ask all spectators that attend this event to donate $5.00 towards this. There will also be a sausage sizzle available to the spectators and all money raised will be going directly to the relief fund.

W.A State side versus The Metro Allstars team.
P Harris (sk), D Opie, C Adams, C Tunstall
D. Katunarich(sk) G.Wishart, R. Ball, D. K. Pickering
This game should be a ripper especially with the Big Kat in great touch. The word was Robbie Ball was awesome last weekend against Anthony Provost and we all know what Daniel Patterson is capable of
Dennis Kat by a whisker
T Smallacombe (sk), D Trewhella, K Mcilroy, R Heaton
A.Provost(sk), J. Jaworski. R.Axford, N. Payne
Another strong rink here but I do favour Trystan Smallacombe mainly because of his front two players who will give the side a very solid start
Trystan to win
J Goddard (sk), J Slavich, D Rankin, T Mitchell
M. Elull(sk) S.Edmonds, The Jones Boy, M.Zusman
Matt Elull is a class player, Scott Edmonds is a good third The Jones Boy is unlucky to not have been selected in the State side and Mike Zusman will make a good start for the team.
John Goddard to win
R Hughes (sk), R Butler, G Carberry, R Dempsey
D. Brown(sk) G. Caffell, B. Katunarich, R.Bresland
Daniel Brown is one of the hottest skips in town while Gary Caffell has been going great guns as a skip in pennants and maybe a tad unlucky to have missed the plane trip to Canberra . Brian Katunarich has been one of the best ever players to represent W.A while Shane Knott is a developing player
I favour the State side to get the point here mainly because of the front two players
