THE MANNING SWAN BREWERY SPLIT FOURS CLASSIC

Another highly successful carnival held at the Manning Bowling Club organized by the best in the business, Frank McGrath. 30 Teams quality teams entered for this event.

WINNERS----$2200.00
COMPOSITE
A. Provost(sk) A. Delaporte, D. Armstrong. Jim Barry ------8 wins + 77 shots
Anthony Provost played brilliantly in this carnival and has won yet another carnival since his return to the bowling scene and with another different team. Aaron Delaporte recently won a trip to compete in the PBA World Indoor singles will have some extra spending money. Good to see the name David Armstrong appear on the winner list, I think David has returned to live in Perth, and the Doubleview greenkeeper Jim Barry did a great job leading for the rink.
The last game of the day saw two unbeaten rinks meet, Anthony Provost's rink playing Matt Kurta's rink with first place at stake and it was Anthony Provost and his rink being far too good, smashing Matt Kurta's rink with a massive 23/3 win.

SECOND ----$1100.00
STIRLING
Mark Pasalich (sk) Dinko Golem, M. Marovic, Adi Mayer----7 wins + 44
Mark Pasalich finished second in the Hilton Park Classic last week and we see former Bedford player and their new Stirling recruit Adi Mayer leading for the team.

THIRD--- $600.00
COMPOSITE
Matt Kurta (sk) Sam Perica, Steve Srhoy J. Morgan ----------6.5 wins + 61
Matt Kurta would have been disappointed with the result of the last game and see the big drop in prizemoney from $2200.00 down to $600.00
We see also that C ockburn's new recruit Sam Perica getting a run and doing well here

FOURTH---$300.00
COMPOSITE
Tony Horner (sk) Mike Ford Tom Crispen Lee Salter--------6.5 wins +44
Tony Horner has done a great job to finish 4th
