Spearwood v Rockingham
Spearwood at home will host Rockingham, for the game of the round: Spearwood wilted in the heat last week against Midland while Rockingham lost in significant fashion against Vic Park.
For both sides this game will take on major importance, a win will keep them in the top two spot a loss will see them drop to fourth or fifth.
The Rockingham side have lost their last two outings and will be keen to stop the rot; at the start of the second round they appeared unbeatable.
The Rocky rinks led by Tony Tuckerman, Bob Costello are settled and providing strong foundations, they will take on the home side led by Boris Yakas and Ken Nadilo.
Ivo Dragicevich Spearwood (pictured) very good third for Spearwood

In the first round Rockingham trounced Spearwood by 38 shots, this result will hang in the balance right up to the last end, the encounters between these two sides are usually torrid affairs with neither side prepared to concede an inch, this game will be no different.
the result will be Spearwood 6 / 2.
Safety Bay v Osborne Park
Safety Bay returns home to take on a confident Osborne Park side: the Bay didn’t enjoy the game against a fired up Manning last week; this game will challenge the home side again.
Osborne Park will be buoyed by their very good win against Melville where all the rinks performed to provide the home side a win to remember. This game won’t be as easy for the visitors with the Bay better suited to their surface, the Park will continue in similar fashion to last week
this result will be Osborne Park 6 / 2.
Manning v Vic Park
Manning at home for the second week for an important game against Vic Park.
the Eagles demolished Safety Bay in the last game, all their rinks contributed evenly to leap frog into top spot on the table, player availability hasn’t affected the Eagles with some changes in the rink structure with Peter Bowden absent for the last game.

Milan Jokic Manning (pictured) Skippers a great rink and is in the top four rinks of One Blue South division
Milan Jokic (Milan is the proud owner of a new hat which has become a fashion statement) with Bill Pengilly will take on Brenton Scott and Rod Volich these rinks will determine the result, the home side will prevail on the day
For the Park last week against Rockingham brought out the best with Brenton Scott finally bringing an end to the winning run of Tony Tuckerman, this game will test the Park as the Eagles look to cementing their place at the top of the table.
the result will be Manning 6 / 2.
Melville v Byford
Melville will host a struggling Byford; both these sides are struggling to avoid relegation Melville must win this game to give themselves a chance of surviving, Melville were well and truly beaten by Osborne Park last week after having three great wins in succession, a repeat performance will see Melville demoted next season;
For Byford this has been a difficult season they have struggled and will not find the fast Melville greens to their liking. In this game the home side should win easily
the result will be Melville 7 / 1.
Hilton Park v Midland Morrison
Hilton Park takes on a revitalised Midland Morrison:
The Hilton boys came away from the Byford game with valuable points to give them three wins in a row, they will take on a Midland side that has won their last four games, two of those games were against top of the ladder sides. the turn around for this club is significant.
Against Spearwood the Midland side didn’t let up with an eight for the Ben Marino rink to top of their day. This game won’t be game of the day but it will provide lots of interest, Hilton will be looking for four in a row, David Opie and Brad Ball are in good form while for Midland Ben Marino and Ray Patterson are the stand outs.
There is too much on the line for the Hilton side in this game a loss will see them drop out of the four
the result will be Hilton Park 6 / 2.
