Preview One Blue South Round SEVEN
Saturdays games delivered no surprises, the Manning Eagles continue to soar they sit 6½ clear of second placed Rockingham, while the other top four sides also came away with wins.
The gap between the bottom four and the rest is widening, these sides will have to start making an impression or it could be curtains very early in 2008. The important detail however is that from the 30 games to date I have selected 22 correctly with 7 clear upsets and 1 draw.
I continue to astound good judges in the game with decisive foresight and impressive knowledge of the game, I on the other hand put it down to the flip of the coin and the stars.
Hey Brian I think that is the method for Sherro to use from now on!!!
Spearwood v Safety Bay
Spearwood will host Safety Bay for this encounter, the Spearwood side won easily at Melville to ensure they remain in contact with the top of the table, the Bay lost by the narrowest margin against their nearest neighbour Rockingham, the Bay languish at the bottom four and will be looking for more contributors than Michael St Jack and his rink.

For Spearwood Boris Yakas continues to be a stand out performer with a strong performance all day, the Tonko Fiamengo rink had an even tussle with Mike Cooper to win on the last end.
This game will test Safety Bay they will have to stay close to the home side or will become messy towards the end;
the result will be Spearwood 6 / 2.
Rockingham v Manning
Rockingham return home having picked up a very good seven in the local derby against Safety Bay.
Manning will take into this game strong form with a great strike rate from the six rounds played to date, this encounter will be game of the day.
The Rocky boys will be looking forward to this clash they sit in second place with two other sides breathing down their neck; Manni
ng’s corner stone (Milan Jokic) returned to very good form last week while Mr Reliable in John Lethlean steadied the good ship Rocky last weekend.
This game will be very even, both sides have good reason to believe they will celebrate; if the sou wester blows it will the Rocky boys in a canter the Eagles will only soar if they can master the wind, carpet and what ever else the home side will throw at them
The result will be Rockingham 6 / 2
Hilton Park v Melville
Hilton Park will be looking forward to this game back on home soil following two weeks on the road. The draw against Vic Park will not sit well with the brains trust, this side has had two draws to date a win in those games would see them in second place.
Melville on the other hand are in damage mode they will need a strong performance across the green to stay in touch with the home side. Hilton will be too strong for the visitors, they should win this game in a canter they have strong contributors across the board this game will be a training session for the Park
The result Hilton Park 7 / 1

Midland Morrison v Osborne Park
Midland Morrison will host Osborne Park following their loss to the ladder leaders last week, Ben Marino and Alan Southern kept the Midland boys in the game, while for Ossy Park had little trouble with Byford.
Stand out performances by the rinks of Doug Eaton and Rance Dewson enabled the Park to cruise to their win. This game will test the visitors, Midland will more than likely use their carpet, this may trouble Osborne Park, the easterly of the scarp may do enough to provide the Midland boys with a much needed victory. This game will be close, however the Osborne Park will side will have too much class for Midland.
The result will be Osborne Park 6/ 2.
Byford v Vic Park
Byford will be at home to take on the fifth placed Vic Park side, the home side are struggling, they are finding the going tough in this division and this game will bring them no joy.
Vic Park on the other hand will be quite happy with their performance to date and will go into this game firm favourites. Last week Nev Young the Parks heart and soul was missing last week expect his return to further bolster the Park’s playing stocks.
Byford in contrast will need significant improvement to trouble a confident Vic Park side, this game will not test the visitors.
The result will be Vic Park 7 / 1.
