A great year for the Osborne Park Saints who scooped the pool by winning the Premier League Premiership, which is the Mt Everest of Lawn Bowls on the pennant scene, it is their first since 1999. Not to be outdone the One Blue South side won the promotion to go into One White division
Osborne Park players scooped the pool with John Goddard winning the Rosenthal Medal as the best performed player in season 2007/8 and the State Singles. James Jaworski and Peter Ker won the State Pairs while Daniel Trewhella won the Mt Lawley Singles. All in all a great season for the Osborne Park Saints .
What is in store from here ? They have lost their best performed skipper Daniel Trewhella to Doubleview who over the years havehad a habit of aquiring Osborne park players into their ranks.
As long as they can retain their list and find a replacement for Daniel they will be about the place next season
One White will be a challenge for the club to retain their place in that division but have enough depth at the club to give it a good shake.
